The Wisconsin Center
for Gifted Learners
Enrollment and Fees

WCGL invites enrollment on a rolling basis; this is a one-time process that applies for all of its programs. Each enrollment is addressed individually. The process typically follows this way:

  • preliminary introduction and discussion via telephone with a Director of The Wisconsin Center for Gifted Learners (414-351-4441);
  • completion and return of written application materials with an application fee;
  • a meeting for parents and child and a detailed assessment of the applicant conducted by WCGL staff.

The assessment is designed to determine the specific nature of the child’s cognitive processes. Areas assessed include, but are not limited to: learning styles, problem attack skills, learning preferences, and creativity. This type of understanding of the way a child thinks and approaches learning allows our staff to individualize curriculum and guide a student in a most beneficial way.

There is a one-time fee associated with the application and assessment process (enrollment). Once a child is enrolled at The WCGL, tuition for each program attended is all-inclusive. Tuitions vary based upon the duration of the program and its materials requirements. Contact WCGL for detailed program information and costs.
